Broadcast Journalism

Journalism isn’t just exclusive to the aspect of writing. I amplify broadcast journalism through my podcast: AwareLife. Within this podcast, I aim to discuss topics that stem from history and current events. With this platform, I have discussed topics such as the highways and the model minority myth by using the program Anchor. I have worked constantly to make this podcast appealing to the ear by adding intro, conclusion, and transition music. I also use a mic to record to ensure prime audio quality. Journalism is meant to be accessible to all; in order for this to happen we need to emphasize other ways of getting messages across to those who aren’t capable of pulling up a website and reading off of it.
